Our Story
Internationally exhibited and collected artist Lori Koprowski’s sense of adventure has taken her on travels around the world and has influenced her rich, contemporary style of artwork. Her dynamic original oil paintings depict the exaggerated female form with a mix of representation and abstraction. The addition of butterflies and the XO symbolism - representing hugs and kisses, yoga balls, landscapes, and the female anatomy - have become a playful and provocative element in her current work.
The rich colors and sweeping bold imagery of Koprowski’s oil paintings draw us into a world of complex abstract patterns and symbolism, creating a universe that is all her own. The colors in these paintings are heavily weighted towards luminous, deep oranges and glowing blues, providing a constant visual reminder of the sun, the sea, and the women who inhabit the islands, initially of the South Pacific and beyond.
