Wings Hawaii

Wings Hawaii is an all-woman-run clothing and jewelry company based out of Maui, Hawaii. We have grown from a school art project at the University of Hawaii at Manoa into a studio out of the historic Pauwela Cannery in Haiku and a flagship store in Paia.

One of Wings Hawaii's distinct elements is the unique designs used in both the clothing and the jewelry, which are inspired by the surroundings of Hawaii. All jewelry in the Wings Hawaii collection is handmade in our studio. All components of our jewelry are hand fabricated of sterling silver and 14k gold fill and feature many semi-precious stones and shells that have been hand-picked from the beaches of Hawaii. The distinct quality of Wings Hawaii jewelry makes each piece one-of-a-kind. All Wings Hawaii clothing is dyed and screen printed with our original artwork. We also feature hand-sewn collections, of which our team proudly designs and fabricates from scratch right out of our studio.

The fact that Wings Hawaii began as a grassroots operation gives us the authenticity we still maintain. Years of hard work, dedication, and creativity have helped Wings Hawaii achieve the goals that have brought us to where we are today. Every bit is still created by hand with the same love and aloha as the very original pieces.

The Founders

Best friends Samantha Howard and Melody Torres started Wings Hawai'i fresh out of college at UH Manoa, after the hand-crafted garments and jewelry they'd sold in their dorms took off and led to wholesale orders, craft fairs, and boutique sales. Wings Hawai'i soared out of their desire to celebrate the free-spirited, breezy lifestyle of their island home.
